The Soul Blade

Created by the Scripton elves and with the help of dwarven hands, this blade was commissioned by King Skyrin of the Arvendi elves to the north. After a many battles with the burly men to the north of the Heartland, betrayals were beginning to make themselves known to the King and many elves died as result. In desperation to save the lives of his people the King called to his brethren to make him an instrument that would determine the truth of a beings heart when touched to them. The Scriptons obeyed, crafting a wondrous blade with the aid of mysterious dwarves who had come across the sea with no ill intent. Together the delicate ideas of the elves and the precise and unrivaled skill of the dwarves, a blade was created. The blade gave the King the ability to see the truth by slicing the skin of those who stood in his doubt, exposing their inner intentions to him. With the tool kept under his person guard, the King was able to cease the needless bloodshed and execute those who caused the trouble in the first place. Later, during the invasion of the men, the blade was lost in battle, only to be discovered many, many years later and then to fall into the hands of Deimos, an enslaved elf.

The King's Katana

A more ordinary weapon with no spiritual attachment to it, but highly held in regard by the Arvendi elves. Passed down from father to son, the blade is thousands of years old and stands to the elves as a symbol of tradition and loyalty.
